“To see is to blur” – literally and figuratively.” With this radical and non-conformist attitude towards image creation, Emet, a self-taught photographer continues to blur the lines between photography and traditional fine art. By employing unusual perspectives, selective focusing, intentional blurring and creative digital printing techniques, he consistently creates fresh and effective images.


A California transplant from the Philippines, Emet has lived in nature-inspired environments that has influenced his philosophy in his photographic projects.  Simplicity and the organic nature of subjects permeate his images. He aspires to capture beauty in the ordinary by drawing simplicity out of the complex to allow the viewer to defocus from the rigors of life.
